Modern Transportation and Metallurgical Materials is an academic journal supervised by the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by the Jiangsu Comprehensive Transportation Society and the Jiangsu Metal Society, and co-organized by Southeast University, Central South University, and the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute. Its aim is to build a window for technological innovation in the field of modern comprehensive transportation and metallurgical materials and an important platform for academic exchange and scholarly communication. It carries out interdisciplinary upstream and downstream industrial chain technical seminar activities, realizes supply and demand information exchange, promotes a virtuous cycle of “demand, research and development, application, feedback, further research and development, and improvement", promotes industrial cluster innovation and development, and builds a core journal with international vision and industry influence.
Modern Transportation and Metallurgical Materials (ISSN 2097-017X; CN 32-1895/TF) was officially launched in July 2021 and is now open for submissions from the public.

Submission Requirements:
1. This journal gives priority to papers of high academic quality that focus on industry frontiers and hot topics. Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been publicly published, and all forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. The submission should be innovative, academic, and scientific, with clear viewpoints, sufficient evidence, and rigorous structure.
2. The manuscript should be more than 5000 characters in length, and the title should accurately express the content of the article, be concise and clear, generally not exceeding 20 Chinese characters, and avoid subheadings, abbreviations, and punctuation marks as much as possible.
3. The purpose of the abstract is to provide a summary of the content, with basic elements including research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. It should be 200–250 Chinese characters in length. Keywords should reflect the thematic and documentary characteristics of the article, and generally 3-8 keywords may be selected.
4. The title, authorship, affiliation, abstract, and keywords must be translated into English and strictly correspond to the Chinese versions. The English abstract should objectively describe the Chinese abstract, and the wording, syntax, tense, and voice should be rigorous, standardized, concise, and accurate. English abstracts that are simply translated using online translation software will be rejected.
5. The citations and materials used in the submission must be accurate and error-free. We encourage a rigorous academic atmosphere, and authors should cite and refer to high-level, cutting-edge papers and literature. The reference numbers should be arranged in the order of citation in the text.
6. The measurement unit shall be based on the national legal measurement unit; statistical symbols shall be written in accordance with the national standard "Statistical Terms and Symbols"; punctuation marks should be used accurately, tables should be reasonably designed, and the use of three-line tables is recommended; figures should be clear and labeled with figure numbers and titles.
7. The submission should be in Word format. The names, WeChat accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, and other contact information of the first author and corresponding author should be attached after the article.
8. Authors are requested to keep copies of their manuscripts. All submissions will not be returned. If the journal does not notify the author of acceptance within 3 months, the author may submit the manuscript elsewhere. It is strictly prohibited to submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
